From the creation of the Component City of Bulacan by former President Joseph E. Estrada under the Republic Act 8797 on September10, 2000, this opened wider opportunities for its people to diverse forward looking actions like the establishment of the Schools Division Office of City of San Jose del Monte in January 15, 2002.
As a new School Division Office in a component city, it owned its independence from the mother division of Bulacan in 2002 where it paved ways to myriad achievements with 23 public elementary and 4 secondary schools in 2002 catering to 45,246 elementary and 15,839 secondary learners. There were two (2) elementary districts, East with Bagong Buhay E Elementary School, Bagong Buhay A Elementary School, Bagong Buhay B Elementary School, Bagong Buhay F Elementary School, Bagong Buhay G Elementary School, Lawang Pare ( BBI) Elementary School, Munuyan Proper Elementary School, Sto. Cristo Elementary School, Paradise Farms Community School, and Kakawate Elementary School and West with San Jose Central , San Rafael BBH, Sta. Cruz BBD, San Martin BBC, Tungkong Mangga, Gumaoc Elementary School, Francisco Homes Elementary School, Gaya-Gaya Elementary School, Muzon Elementary School, Muzon Pabahay Elementary School, Sapang Palay Proper Elementary School, Dulong Bayan Elementary School and Kaypian Primary School. For secondary, there were only four (4) public secondary schools namely Sapang Palay National High School, San Jose Del Monte National Trade School, San Jose Del Monte High School and Paradise Farms High School.
The start of the operation was made possible by getting existing personnel from schools to act as Education Program Supervisors and support personnel from administrative, planning to finance units.
As it strove to realize the vision of the Department, the Schools Division Office got its first office space from the borrowed classrooms from San Jose Del Monte Central School where it housed 16 personnel. Then it grew like a family where leading officials had been driven by the need to look for means getting for regular items for personnel and collaborate with concerned stakeholders for possible permanent edifices. From 2016 -2022, the number of teaching personnel grew bigger as the SDO CSJDM got its two-storey building in San Ignacio St., Poblacion, City of San Jose Del Monte.
Through the support of the Office of the City Mayor and Office of the Lone Representative, SDO CSJDM has found its permanent lot and home at Ecopark, Muzon East, City of San Jose Del Monte.
In October 24, 2022 the Schools Division Office has built its progressive home catering to increasing number of learners from 37 public elementary and 22 secondary schools.
